Our Services

Our business operations in the industry of insurance as an insurance intermediary and therefore we are in the position of an agent for our clients. In certain situations, we may act for and owe duties of care to other parties. Should these circumstances occur, we will inform you straight away to make you aware of any conflict of interests. We do not provide advice, but instead provide quotations after assessing your insurance requirements so that you can make an informed purchasing decision.

Products We Offer

As part of our daily operations, we will carry out an in-depth analysis of the market so that we can effectively identify a suitable product. During this process, we will compare products from a range of insurance providers in regards to price, terms and quality of service to find a quote that meets your requirements. All prices are correct at the time of the original quote however are subject to change. Prices may change as a result of a change in insurer rates, administration fees or changes to acceptance criteria.

Remuneration

We will receive a commission from insurers as a percentage of the premium paid by you and allowed by the insurers. In addition to this, we may also charge a professional administration fee to cover the placing of your insurance. This fee will cover the cost of an identity validation check, driving licence check, passport check, vehicle registration look up and postcode validation check. You will be informed of the amount we will charge prior to your purchase of any policy. Simply look out for the information icon (i) on the quote page to view the breakdown of the costs. We earn the entirety of our commission and fees when your payment is placed successfully and take our commission and fees immediately upon receipt of payment unless agreed otherwise with your insurer.

Disclosure of earnings

You hold the right to request information about your earnings that we will receive as a result of your order. Remuneration is only earned on the basis that it does not detract from our obligation to act in our client’s best interest throughout our operations.

Payment Terms

As of currently (January 2021) we accept payment via Debit or Credit card. We will require full payment of the premium before any cover is incepted.

As the Agent of Insurers for the collection of premiums, your money will be held by us on a risk transfer basis. Any interest or investment returns earned on your money whilst in our possession will be retained by us.

We continuously take every care to check the financial stability of any company in which we place business. However, cannot be held liable should a firm cease to trade.

Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)

Within our organisation, we have set the highest standards and make sure that we treat our customers fairly at all times. Our managers have been carefully selected to ensure that we can fulfil all requests and meet the every need of our client. If you feel that you have not been treated fairly, please contact us so that we may address the matter.

Bribery Prevention

We always ensure that we meet the requirements of the Bribery Act 2010. If you feel at any point that we have not acted in a way that meets the requirements of the Bribery Act 2010 you should contact us immediately.

Your Responsibility to Provide Information

It is your duty to take care when answering all questions, ensuring that you are answering honestly and to the best of your knowledge. Should you fail to do so, your insurance policy may be cancelled and your claim may be rejected or not paid in full. All the statements you make in your proposal or claims forms, as well as any other documents, must be accurate. Failure to provide any of the requested information to your insurers will likely invalidate your insurance cover and mean that part or all of your claim may not be paid.

Claims

As part of our service, we can provide you with assistance for any claim you make. When you first purchase with us, we will provide you with the details as to how you can make a claim as well as the responsibilities that you hold when doing so. If you are in any doubt as to what action can be taken in the event of a claim, contact our team directly.

Complaints

We aim to provide our customers with the highest level of support at all times. If you want to make a complaint about our services, we have a formal complaints procedure in place. You can email our team directly to start. In the first instance you should inform us of the reason for your complaint and what action you would like taken. We will then supply with you with a copy of our complaint’s procedure. If you are unable to settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

Our operations are fully covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme should we be unable to meet your obligations. This depends on the type of service you have requested and the circumstances of your claim. Full details and additional information can be found at the FSCS website.

Confidentiality

All information that you provide will be treated as private and confidential. We are fully registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and make sure that we comply with the Act in our daily operations. Your personal information will always be kept secure.

Privacy Notice

During the process of contacting us for an insurance quotation, we will collect the relevant information needed by an insurer to calculate the costs and understand your insurance needs. This information is collected directly through our website or via telephone conversations. This information is then passed directly to our insurers who will then calculate the best insurance quotation to meet your requirements. We retain all information we have collected for up to 7 years after our professional relationship has ended. However, data held electronically may be retained for a longer period of time.

Under the Data Protection Act you hold the right to obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you. If you believe that the information, we hold is incomplete or incorrect, contact us straight away. This information will then be amended as soon as possible.

Claims and Underwriting Exchange Register and Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud Register

Insurers pass information to the Claims and Underwriting Exchange Register operated by Insurance Database Services Limited and the Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register compiled by the Association of British Insurers. The aim of this is to check the information provided in order to prevent any fraudulent claims. Motor insurance details are also added to the Motor Insurance Database operated by the Motor Insurers’ Information Centre (MIIC). This has been formed to help identify any uninsured drivers and may be accessed by law enforcement to help confirm who is insured to drive. In the event of an accident, this database can be used by insurers, MIIC and your motor insurer to identify relevant policy information.
